2023 IBO National Triple Crown

Jacob Slusarz was crowned the 2023 IBO National Triple Crown champion this weekend at the IBO World Championship. After finishing near the top in all three legs of the IBO National Triple Crown, his consistent strong performances earned him the title.

The IBO held three Triple Crown events in 2023 in WV, PA, and Ohio. The 1st Leg of the Triple Crown was held at Pipestem State Park in West Virginia. Here Jacob scored 416 qualification score and finished in third.

At the 2nd Leg of the Triple Crown in Franklin, PA he totaled a 407 earning him a second place finish.

Finally, the 3rd Leg of the IBO Triple Crown was held at Hocking College in Nelsonville, PA. There he shot 417 and finished in fourth place. Continued consistency earned him podium finishes which led to winning the IBO National Triple Crown for 2023.

The IBO, or International Bowhunters Organization, is the country’s top competitive organization for unknown distance 3D archery.

Along with the National Triple Crown they host the 3D Archery World Championships. This is the most prestigious in the realm of competitive 3D archery.
